Hell's Kitchen Farm Project

Who are we? The Hell's Kitchen Farm Project (HKFP) is collaboration between Metro Baptist Church, Rauschenbusch Metro Ministries (RMM), Metropolitan Community Church of NY Charities (MCCNY) and Clinton Housing Development Company (CHDC).

What's our mission? The mission of HKFP is to create a 'food secure' Hell's Kitchen neighborhood through collaborative farming, education and community initiatives.

What are we doing right now? We are harvesting vegetables from a farm on the roof of the Metro Baptist Church at 410 West 40th Street and giving the produce to RMM Food Pantry and MCCNY's Sylvia Rivera Food Pantry. .

Urban Harvest: a Benefit and Celebration for the Hell's Kitchen Farm Project.

The Hell's Kitchen Farm Project is celebrating its first growing season and would like you to join us to sustain this project's work in growing local food pantries' vegetables.

Join us for a night of bluegrass music, tours of the rooftop farm, drinks, food, and conversation.

Silent auction items will be available from a variety of great places including:

-4 tickets to the Blue Man Group at Astor Place Theatre.
-Items from the Ajna Collection, ethically designed and produced clothing.
-A gift package from Brooklyn Brewery.
-A sampler package from b.good skincare.
-And more items to come!
